The organic farm Villa Waldruhe is located directly at the Rienz ski center in Dobbiaco, which is particularly suitable for beginners and families with children. There are other ski areas in the immediate vicinity, such as the Haunold (7km), Helm (10km), Rotwand (15km) lifts.as well as Plan de Corones (20km) and Cortina (30km).
CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
Dobbiaco and the entire Puster Valley open up a true paradise for all cross-country skiing fans, which is ideal for both beginners and advanced skiers. For beginners there are gentle trails and perfectly groomed routes that offer an ideal opportunity to learn the basics of cross-country skiing. Advanced cross-country skiers, on the other hand, can go on more demanding routes that challenge both technique and endurance. Enjoy the silence of the surroundings and the pure mountain air, which allow you to forget the stress of everyday life. One of the many cross-country ski trails of the "Dolomiti Nordski" cross-country ski area leads right past our farm and the "Nordic Arena" cross-country ski center is around three kilometers away from Villa Waldruhe.
